Mando's like "You can take your clippers and go f*** yourself." :D

Good to see the backing band socialising and seemingly happy. A happy band should lead to a happy Moz.

hmm wheres boz though? wonder how he and the rest of the band get along and socialize outside of work

My grandmother used to run The Savoy restaurant in Cardiff in the 1970s and 1980s. Then my late uncle ran at least two pubs over the years in the area, one right nearby the arena I believe.

Is Damon not allowed out of the hotel room?

why would you think that? theres pics of him and moz in places. i would imagine hes probably with moz while they eat and if so why would he want out of the hotel room lol

He just seems to never socialise with anyone outside of Moz whilst on tour.

I just joke that he's perpetually tethered to Moz.

Probably because it isn't a restaurant in Cardiff. The pic is captioned "2/3 Band Night... On to Cardiff." I take that to mean the photo wasn't actually taken in your home town. Enjoy the gig.

well moz is a private guy in general and i imagine his partner to be as well though who knows. maybe damon doesnt like to go out and deal with the hassle which is annoying for those who like to be as incognito as possible. also might not want to be in print everywhere and is just doing his best to deal with people badgering him and talking about him or having his family read all sorts of stupid things about him. normal anons dating famous people is hard especially for those who honestly want to stay anon and truely have no secondary agenda with there affection for stephen the man i.e there own personal route to fame financial gain. thats my guess. i dont think it moz really who wants to hide damon, though after jake that might really be the case, but maybe hes trying to protect damon himself as much as possible. i kinda see moz as a very protective person for those whom he cares for (not many).

Gustavo is cool.
IIRC, Morrissey mentioned in Autobiography about how he clicked with Gustavo ery quickly.
Would like to see a "South With Morrissey" style doc with the current lineup.
Hell, I'd like to see "South With Morrissey"!

Who cares, morrisseys band is shit and their music is mediocre and morrisseys song writing has worsend. That's the thing with moz and marr, they're inspired eachother and elvated one another. Moz should change his musicians or call it a day

oh man world peace had so many great musical devices and nuances that it was just great. the flamenco (the best part), the bells, the keys, the accordion, the block, the electric guitar and echo pedals, the distortion and crunch of istanbul, the acoustic strum on mount joy, it was all great musically even if its not your style. i mean for all that i love the smiths they were for sure some musical duds on the first album, songs with little structure and fade outs. i mean what difference does it make is pretty boring and really porter as ive said before had a big influence on that first album and the guitar layering that seemed to never repeat itself after his absence. marr does for the most part writes some great riffs but i think he needs to work on the arrangements that made a big part of the smiths so musically enticing. for sure i think there are some things that could be more flourished in the solo stuff but i think i got that in world peace this time around as it was so good. i also think a lot of thelast two albums sound just down to morrisseys desire to play straight up rock music on the last two albums while quarry was for the most part an electro lounge album on which i personally loved. what about it made you think it mediocre. id love to have a talk about the music and individual songs musical merits and not just make competing statements at each other about personaly taste in musical style. how are you judging the merits of the music?

It's a shame you put in the unnecessary full stops as this would be an excellent piece of writing if it was just one sentence. The commas are fine, but I think you can safely drop the full stops.
