Jensen Session - I Don't Owe You Anything version

A new source for the Kid Jensen session version of I Don't Owe You Anything has been unearthed via the Peel mailing list. To my ears it's a much cleaner version than either of the others I've heard in circulation

My ears hear a tiny speed issue, but they ain't what they used to be...
Here's the savbomb cleaned and adjusted version - see how it compares:

(For anyone new to collecting the earlier music: this track is often found dated either 25th August,' 83 or 5th September,' 83 - it was recorded on the 25th and broadcast on the 5th - which explains any possible date discrepancies).

Mighty good treasure, Bobby.

Is anyone able to point me to where I can download the full episode of Peel that this is taken from?

From Smithstorrents.co.uk...
Best current sources for the tracks are:
David Jensen, 5 September 1983.
Accept Yourself
(Kid Jensen 5/9/83) - see Hatful of Hollow version.
I Don't Owe You Anything (Kid Jensen 5/9/83) see Sign Here boot - see above posted versions.
Pretty Girls Make Graves (Kid Jensen 5/9/83) see The Smiths at the BBC boot*
Reel Around the Fountain (Kid Jensen 5/9/83) see The Smiths at the BBC boot*
*= quality is excellent.
There's no easy one hit download unfortunately.
I will dig up the Beeb boot ones tomorrow to add to the savbomb/new find version + convert & upload.
Regards,
FWD.

Here are:
Pretty Girls Make Graves &
Reel Around The Fountain from the Jensen show 5th Sept., '83.
FLAC->@320 MP3

From DavidA:
"The bootleg says that that it's "an ultra rare unbroadcasted* BBC special Smiths BBC Documentary 1992.
Due to a legal battle between Johnny Marr and The Smiths, the broadcast was never aired.
It is in its entirety, unedited and uncut sourced directly from the BBC master recording."
As far as I can tell, it's the same as the version broadcast on BBC Radio 6."

(* liner notes not true - it was broadcast in '94).

They are culled from this (which is why you can hear a microsecond of Whispering Bob at the end of Reel).
They are the best versions I've ever heard.

Thank you very much for all the uploads, greatly appreciated
