Didn't we hear a rumour he'd be in the studio around this time or did I imagine it?
I’m guessing BMG is smart enough to not rush-release another album. Every high-profile artist takes at least 2 years inbetween albums, so no new record before the end of next year I’m sure.
2020 would be even better from a record industry’s point of view. And by then the British press, or what’s left of it, will be ready to embrace Moz once again, too.[/QUOTE
Damage may already be done with the press but if he keeps his mouth shut and let’s his music do the talking, who knows?

Easy to understand:The pre-sale date was accurate too - 5 months in advance? Any reason they are so early compared to Europe?
I'd never heard of this, although I did find this trailer on YouTube:Come back every few years to ask this, but has the documentary "South With Morrissey" still never seen the light of Youtube?
Would like to finally see it before I follow this tour online.
He ain't dead, boys.
I'd never heard of this, although I did find this trailer on YouTube:
It looks very interesting, and nicely shot (ie not by Sam). Do we know the reason why it's been buried? I would have thought he would be keen to have anything out there that made him look good at the moment.
Thanks for the info, FWD.Morrissey became annoyed when it was made available for sale online.
Lawyers entered the scene, 'all' copies were handed over.
A tiny bit of it appears recycled in The Importance of...
Website lasted a brief time and then vanished. Not sure if everyone ever got refunds.
Occasionally discussed here from 2001.

I hope he is protested everywhere he shows himself. Anywhere he dares play, I hope people show up and protest against his sick, sad, dated, hateful beliefs. He has no place in this world. If he were ever to play in my city, I’ll be there to do the same.
Silly sausage, they probably already recorded it. Walked right into the studio all edgy like, plugged in, and tossed off a whole album's worth in an afternoon. Then Morrissey just stopped by for 45 minutes and nailed the lyrics and the vocals in ONE SOLID TAKE. Boom.Didn't we hear a rumour he'd be in the studio around this time or did I imagine it?

kWell there is a big difference. Mexicans don’t follow Islam. So yeah, culture does matter.
k
They actually think he still lives so and it's his fav city.. The LA/Mexico years was morrisseys first outing into travel pop mexico, LA, Istanbul and so on
It's the start of most cynical and shallow writing period.
