And neo-Nazi Andrew Anglin used his Daily Stormer website to claim the controversy was “encouraging and refreshing” because “it indicates Trump is more or less on the same page as us with regards to race and immigration.”​

Remember this is a person who uses the crudest language to talk about women and minorities and yet when someone mocks him it's somehow going too far? In order for this kind of fascism to succeed in the US it can't really identify what it is. To the "nice" people they push the point of view that we should be nice and to the nazis they push the "shithole countries" point of view.

No they generated worldwide liberal MSM condemnation. Some African leaders (granted not all, but some) actually agreed with him, I believe the Ugandan president Museveni being one. Here is the issue as far as I see it.

1) Before you can fix a problem you have to recognize it. Are we really gonna pretend that there aren't some countries out there that are shithole? Does anyone REALLY fancy a holiday in Somalia?? Gimme a break. Doesn't mean with the right infrastructure, good governance and international investment they can't be fantastic countries to one day visit but right now, shithole is pretty much what they are. If we were having this conversation in say the early 90's a country like Serbia would probably be in the same basket. Instead those on the left love to get all sanctimonious about it and pretend the entire world is some type of paradise. Newsflash, it's not.

2) Once again this comment was made in a private setting and then leaked to the media. I'm sure all of us have said things in a private setting that we wouldn't make in public. If Trump had just come out and called a certain country a 'shithole' in a speech then that is something else. Who knows what his state of mind was when he made the comment. Was he having an argument with someone? Was he venting his frustration over slow moving policy? Had he just received bad news about something else that manifested itself in making this comment? We simply don't know and if you don't have the context then it's hard to make a proper analysis. Yeah iI get it though, critics of Trump will say it doesn't matter he made the comment, but honestly can anyone hold their hand on their heart and say with 100% conviction that they haven't made some type of politically incorrect remark in a private setting? Or vented over a matter and used expletives?

As for White Nationalists, they are thankfully a small minority of lunatic nutjobs that very very few people take seriously. I think Antifa are more dangerous to public safety, in that they are far more organised and well bankrolled as opposed to the Neo-Nazi whacko movement.

Incidentally, it sounds to me like you are laying out a strong argument for securing the border. I agree that it is important to prevent the flow of criminals, illegal arms, drugs, and human (especially child) trafficking, especially sex-trafficking.

As well, you are right about the state of inner cities. They have been run in to the ground by Democrats for decades. Chicago is a war-zone despite being a gun-free zone. Black children in Baltimore are attending schools that don't even have heating while their mayor spends tax dollars on illegal aliens. It's the same story everywhere, but the good news is that it is being put to an end. People are waking up!

The funny thing is, some people I know who despise Trump were talking about India and literally called it a "shithole country" just weeks before Trump's alleged "shithole countries" remark.
