and not too much praise so far for the 20 yr stalwart fans ,the ones who love boxers and have listened to vauxhall and i every week regardless.

the consumer friendly morrissey is now here for all!
 
I agree....... but I don't blame him.
We should be thankful that we still have him.
I was excited about buying Quarry as I was buying The Smiths first album all those years ago.

People continually fail to forget Morrissey is human. Can't blame him at all, did you listen carefully to the interview on XFM? You, unfortunately, sound like the NME. I agree with ctid, I am excited for this new album as I was with the Smiths albums. (Long live the Smiths in our hearts!) Speaking of the Smiths, I have forgiven Morrissey for not wanting to venture into new musical territory while with the Smiths (which is why Marr left), such as no synths, no videos, to name a few. Now here he is having experimented with everything since he moved on from the Smiths. It's called change, growing with age. Don't blame him at all, he is excited as Sanctuary is excited to get his music played, and it does, unfortunately, mean exposure to the world.

i suppose your right in a way -it just takes a bit of adjusting to now the ultimate outsider seems to be testing the inside
