Is Coronavirus as serious as they say?

I’ll admit I was hesitant to have the vaccination, having read posts from Robert Kennedy Junior, but having seen Gemma Collins and Elton John recommend I take it, I’m in.

5400 dead yesterday with the total now at 481000
3287 dead yesterday from automotive accidents with a further 109589 seriously and permanently injured. God help us what are we gonna do until we develop a vaccine to cars?

You can fix stupid. ATesla came lnches from hitting my car today, i was in full view of him and only reason he didnt was because i slammed on the horn. 60k car and they still dont give a shit

worldwide?
Yes. It’s terrible, unacceptable and something must be done. Car, trucks and motorcycles must stay off our roads until we find the solution.

1.2 million deaths every year with another FORTY TO FIFTY MILLION serious and long lasting injuries caused EVERY year. We can’t go with this cardemic, we simply can’t.

I'm firmly of the belief that in some cases you absolutely can't fix stupid. Have you seen that porno of the couple doing it going down the highway in a Tesla?

Just over a thousand yesterday and we’re at 485000. Hope that’s the start of a trend reflecting the fall of hospitalizations.

wow driving sounds dangerous. Someone should make a bunch of laws and enforce them daily to reduce deaths. Oh wait

Yes. That would help; no need for emergency legislation or draconian clampdowns, or ‘unprecedented self-inflicted economic harm’ (of the very variety EU ‘remainers’ were describing in apocalyptic terms, 18 months ago) then?

That's my point exactly, we have some basic road rules yet deaths and serious injuries continue by the millions, numbers which you must find unacceptable? Surely by your rationale we should ban driving until we can eliminate deaths/injuries on our roads?

I saw a great quote on the net earlier today, 'It's insane that I have to explain why governments coercing perfectly healthy people to inject themselves with a foreign substance, in order to 'win back' their basic freedoms, is an extremely dangerous precedent.'

And how dangerous is the virtually untested vaccine so far? I'm not an anti-vaxxer but equally I'm not prepared to take the risk until I see a lot more data.

as a counter to people who say they dont want the vaccine because they dont know what the long term risks are, they're probably going to start saying "well you dont know what the long term risks of covid are, either". i saw this list on the internet: "signs you've had covid and dont know it". the "dont know it" part should be a giveaway as to how scary this virus is. but then they went on to list about every ailment or complaint anyone could ever possibly have as being a sign you once had covid, so now in the future when you get that backache or sciatica or sinusitis or diabetes it's all down to once having had covid and not knowing it. so correlating to that, if you dont get the vaccine it's your fault if you have any ailments down the road that might fall into the category of things somebody somewhere supposes might be syptoms of long covid.

Covid can affect your blood vessels, that's why it can affect many organs and all part of of your body.

Your road traffic analogy doesn't really work. We accept a certain death toll on the roads as part of the price we have to pay to enjoy rapid and convenient travel. We trade the one for the other. But with COVID19 there is nothing to trade. COVID19 gives us absolutely no benefit to offset the huge amount of damage it does.

Yes. And any economic pain one might be subject to—that will be the effect of Covid. Indeed, all trade wars, conventional wars and perhaps nuclear wars: all Covid.

And the humble common cold—that will become extinct, all thanks to Covid. And if you fail to engage in this global nervous breakdown, that too will surely be an effect of Covid’s capacity to destroy your (never their’s) powers of reasoning.

Everything is Covid: the post-postmodern God.

Everything must be sacrificed for covid-19! Hurry up and jump for covid's sake.

Agreed, the fact that Novis can’t see what we are being asked to sacrifice for the sake of a virus that in most cases has a 99.95% survival rate is staggering.

On a (somewhat) separate point: we are now being asked to celebrate pharmaceutical companies that have traditionally sat on their hands for months (years in the case of Ebola) assessing the economic benefits of being arsed to find a vaccine. It’s this kind of reaction (rather than anti-vaccine Youtubers) that consolidates skepticism about their interventions now: regardless of whether the vaccine is effective or not, the likes of Pfizer are problematically invested in the story of Covid. And, as far as I’m concerned, benefiting from the vaccine doesn’t mean the world wouldn’t be better off without them.

The use and extent of animal experimentation, in the Covid vaccines’ developments, remains another opaque issue: a further thing being wilfully obscured and overlooked by the BBC, so people can’t have a say in the ethical equation.

Work hard and sweetly pay your taxes
Never asking what for
Oh oh, you poor little fool”
