'I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris'-Exclusive First Play

I just heard it again too on Jeremy Vine, Radio 2. I love the single, I think it's definitely his strongest for a long time and the melody is instantly likeable. The way he sings the verses and some of the chord changes are reminiscnet of Magazine's Song From Under The Floorboards to my ears. Great song!:)

I was switching channels in my car just before Christmas and within two notes of the intro I recognised this song, even though I'd only heard it once before. I think that's quite a good sign.

Re: Morrissey sings with a lisp on "Paris"!

i definitely hear it too. i thought it was just the quality of the radio audio rip when i first heard it but it's still present in the album download. not noticeable in any of the other songs though. strange.

Re: Morrissey sings with a lisp on "Paris"!

he has always had a slight lisp, i think it comes from his under bite.

rawr.

Re: Morrissey sings with a lisp on "Paris"!

it's definitely more pronounced in this than in anything i've ever heard before though.

Re: Morrissey sings with a lisp on "Paris"!

Marc Riley played it last night and called morrissey a lazy bugger..

He kept saying Paris'...Not Paris, that's irritating..
