Idiotic forum members with humongous signatures...

There may be epileptics reading this site, I think you should consider the effects your signature may have on those with epilepsy.

It's a good point, but I think the frequency is wrong. If I think back to when I had to deal with such matters, I don't think this picture will cause too many problems. More here.

That's just reminded me of a great story I witnessed years ago, I was in Bolton Socialist Club on a Saturday afternoon having a pint & a bit of scran, when 1 lad went down having an epileptic seizure, this bloke called Alan walks in just as we are all rushing round to help out this lad having the fit & Alan says "I'll have a pint of what he's just been supping", well I PMSL!

love

P.s. what sig btw, I've got 'em switched off, can't see a thing!

I don't mind them all. Some are too big, and some I'm forced to see way too much.

This one has got to go:

I turned of signatures a long time ago because people use them to be irritating. I can't see the point in looking at or posting the same picture or quote repeatedly but maybe there could be a "signature" thread, in case people really need everyone to see some picture of read some quote, and when it was convenient some of us might have a look. That's no fun though, because the whole point is to force people to look at some irritating stupidity.

Well, as most of you know, I am an epileptic, and I'm glad you guys helped the guy having a seizure. 1. Roll them on their side so they don't choke. 2. DO NOT put your fingers anywhere near their mouth or you will lose them! I usually have a one minute *aura* a feeling that it's going to happen so I get somewhere soft to land. LOL, if I didn't have epilepsy, I woiuld have laughed too. Good job on helping the poor guy out.

or invisible lols. :p

No sigs would really cut down on the volume to wade thru. I'd be for it.

eh, how did they help? They drank beer and lol'd at the guy.;)

Thank you for the refresher course :) I'm not epileptic and that sig hurts my head. Hope you are well -in general- and have sigs turned off.

Turn them off. User CP-->Settings And Options-->Edit Options, and uncheck the box regarding signatures. Problem solved. Unless of course, you want to see them and GET ANGRY ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

Let's review what we've learned this past week.

It's okay for a moderator to advise a forum member to turn off signatures.

However, it's not okay for the reverse to occur.

totally awesome

I wonder if doing that song was Michael Jackson paying off his deal with the devil?

I personally find them quite funny and often insightful. Where is the harm in that?

Moderators have the additional job of looking for violations in sigs so that advice is not valid.
