I was at Brown’s Manchester gig: it was great. Contrary to what you could believe from media reports, everyone enjoyed it. Perhaps the most interesting thing is that, given full control over the stage sound, Ian Brown is a good singer (and no, his voice wasn’t pre-recorded too).

It would be interesting in many ways. But probably not go and see, since some of it would be up on YouTube and that would be enough. Ian had balls/ego to do it, and most probably enjoyed the novelty of it, I would doubt they would see him again in that setup though.
