I had the same thoughts last year. I'm only 19 but I thought if I want to explore and try these things its more forgivable when your young rather than hitting the age of 28 and going off the rails a bit. your allowed to immature and stupid to a certain extent, just know where your boundaries are and you'll be fine.

Thanks, i got my Morrissey tattoo yesterday and I got so much crap for it.

Saying Morrissey would be dissapointed in me, I should get rid of the tattoo because I'm just a phony and all this stupid poison.

It made me wonder...

so was I, I got it on my wrist. Everyone says how bad it hurts, my arm was shaking, I was scared so much.

Once the needle went it, it felt so good. It doesn't hurt at all. Nothing at all.

Don't worry about this and just ignore those who give you stick. It's not like Morrissey never got drunk, did stupid things or went to clubs in which he danced to shit music (in fact I remember an interview where he spoke of such a phase). In short, Morrissey does not give a crap if you do the things you say. He does not want you to be unhappy through emulation of his (apparently) introspective and quiet lifestyle. I actually think that Morrissey kind of likes his fans who do their own thing more than those who try to live the same cloistered life as him.

I'm 18 and have had similar thoughts to you, but at the end of the day "it's my life ruin my own way": I want to have fun, I want to have good friends, I want to do stupid things that I'll look back on fondly in years to come. I can do all this and still appreciate and understand Morrissey and I don't believe that he would look down on me because I want to have a good life, after all he only wants the same.
