I looked at Kilborn's schedule next week and Morrissey ain't on it.

I demand an explanation!

Is Kilborn in reruns next week?

Why would Morrissey record a third performance if it won't air?

Rumors are already flying that Kilborn was insulted because
Morrissey changed the Jesus lyrics to attack Kilborn's condescension.

Oh and don't anyone try and tell me Morrissey fucked up the words.
Morrissey knew exactly what he was doing. He's sung the song
a million times and the band is very tight playing it. Yes
he made a gesture to his mouth as if he messed up, but that was
part of the joke too. He was having an inside joke with himself
and those in the audience who have a clue. Morrissey was attacking
Kilborn for his CONDESCENSION.

You're reading into it far too deeply.

You sound like an idiot.

Morrissey fucked up the lyric (he's human) and then made up for it by saying "More condescension" to poke fun at how he fucked up. It had nothing to do with Kilborn, you moron.

And I hate Kilborn just as much as the next guy.

And they played three songs so that the producers could pick which two to air. That's how most things work in TV.

WRONG! Morrissey was originally booked to do FIVE NIGHTS AND FIVE SONGS. He got "ill", probably from seeing Kilborn's condescending and stupid mockeries.
Then Kilborn aired TWO previous performances, and said Morrissey would be back to do the additional number of nights. That would be THREE MORE. But then when Morrissey came back, Morrissey refused to sit down on the couch for an interview because Morrissey no longer wanted to. If you think Kilborn didn't want him to sit down for an interview you're a moron. He was looking forward to an interview with Morrissey for MONTHS, and obviously Morrissey is a better person to interview than the guests he had on the past two shows. Anyway, so Morrissey agreed to do three nights worth of songs but no interview. Then Morrissey changed a lyric to slam Kilborn. Now Kilborn refuses to air the third performance.

Morrissey has never recorded extra songs for TV shows to let the producers decide which to air. He didn't last time he was on Kilborn either.

And if Morrissey "fucked up" the lryic, he could've just switched Tuesday and Wednesday. No, he decided to emphasize the word CONDESCENSION on purpose, as a joke for himself and those of us with a clue.

No.

You are such an idiot.

This is your scenario:

Morrissey says condescension three times in a song, Kilborn gets so mad because that is obviously a dig at him, and goes backstage to tell the producers "Do NOT air that third performance!".

Yeah, sounds really likely.

Moz screwed up the lyric, then made a save by cracking a joke at the end of the verse. End of story.

i'm personally more interested in the quality of morrissey's voice that night...it sounded different. like it was simultaneously deeper, yet nearly ready to crack from fragility at any moment.
