HT getting exclusive Morrissey variant - Modern Vinyl

World Peace Is None Of Your Business, the upcoming full length album from Morrissey, is coming to colored vinyl, courtesy of Hot Topic. The retailer will carry a 180-gram fluorescent orange variant, in stores on July 22nd. We’ll update this post when it goes on sale.

If you just want the standard double vinyl variant, you can pick it up at Amazon. The album is officially released on July 15th.

Haven't gotten a shipping/billing e-mail yet but checking regularly. It's crazy that this was made so difficult to get. Supposedly a store 20 miles from me got it in according to one of the stores I went to today. But apparently no stores could tell you ahead of time if they'd be getting it or not. So I didn't know which store to try and I tried two of the wrong ones apparently.

Yup! I called right at 10 am. I called Willow Grove (which is the closest to me), Montgomeryville, Neshaminy, Oxford and Cherry Hill. Nothing. Sigh.

Was anyone able to order two copies at once (single order) off the website? The site wouldn't let me change the quantity to two, but I wasn't sure if that was a limit they'd imposed or if I was literally ordering the last copy. It's only by chance that I happened to get up extra early this morning.

I still haven't receive shipping confirmation and my PayPal charge is pending, but they do say it could be 2-3 days to process an order. So much waiting!

I ordered a Blink 182 exclusive LP there a couple months ago and did the “ship to store” and they never sent me an email saying that it arrived. A few weeks after ordering I went into the mall to check on it and they were like “oh yeah...it’s here”. Weird.

Although I tried to put more than one in my basket it wouldn't let me so I had to do two separate transactions. However, I have 3 transactions pending on my Amex so maybe I was still sleepy when I bought them. The important thing is that they are pending so it must be going through.

Actually wanted to THANK the Hot Topic employees here--all were super "professional" (if one can be a professional at Hot Topic). My local store didn't get any so they referred me to the second store in town. An employee there told me someone was waiting at store opening and bought all theirs up. Worker seemed to actually feel bad and gave me a final store which was a bit out of the way to try. I went there and the girl working helped me search for it within their vinyl stacks--she even said "Are you sure it isn't The Smiths and not Morrissey?" which actually kinda impressed me.

She then went to her computer, told me to wait...went in the back...and brought out a copy of the special WPINOYB. It came in this morning and hadn't been shelved. So, there are brighter sides to life and I should know because I just saw one. Don't lose faith everyone--keep trying, maybe some of these stores haven't put them out yet...
