This guy was lucky enough for Morrissey to sign two items on the same night... both adverts cut out of a magazine... why on earth would Morrissey sign them - one I could accept, but two? and luckily he had two pens to match the pics, come on...

The first one went for £35 a few weeks ago, the second one is still active. I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

I suspect the seller reads solo - the item has been removed...

If you ask a question about the auction, doesn't it show up in the ad? I was thinking one of us could ask if he can remember if he got it signed at the Apollo or if he got it signed back in 2006 according to the auction he's previously pulled :lbf:

Wow, that is a horribly fake Moz signature.

No idea if these are real or fake, but I love the attempt at provenance for them:
I have had this LP plus a fully signed copy of Meat is Murder since the Smiths gig at Liverpool Royal Court in 1984. They were supported by James and I still have the ticket by way of provenance.
The LPs were bought already signed from Probe Records in Liverpool.

So, you have gig ticket. And you bought some signed LP's. But the two aren't connected

Wasn't Meat is Murder released in 1985? Doh!

"THE SIGNATURE/AUTOGRAPH SEEMS TO BE IN INDELIBLE BLACK MARKER PEN AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION" Almost as if it was just signed yesterday! :lbf:

    "Being sold for a friend"

Never heard of a "Very Very Good" rating for vinyl.

They look 100 per cent legit to me in particular the Smiths first album is def 100 per cent. I must add i have nothing to do with this sale. Anyone want any pics of sigs from this time is wellcome to Email me and i can send scans. No one could copy them especially Jonnys its too complex to my eyes anyways.

I have 2 signed first Smiths LPs and they re just like the one listed the first i got from Morrissey madness for 225 pounds along with 5 bootleg Moz Smiths Dvds after a bit of haggling and is a white label promo. The second i got off ebay a few years back for about 90 pounds i think. I reckon about 100 to 130 pounds would be a fair estimation but there again it depends on how many people want to own it?

They are both authentic signed LPs. I think the date is an error, should be 1985. Anyhow, I agree with Allie, Johnny Marr's signature is super tough to forge and I can spot a fake Marr very well. I see the rest are just about right too. Only the "M" in Morrissey's from the MIM LP looks slightly funny but 99% it's real , especially coupled with the rest.
