Every year, millions of animals are killed in experiments. To put this into perspective, every three seconds, another animal dies in an EU laboratory. Felix is a macaque monkey who soon will be forced to undergo an agonising surgery at the hands of a notoriously cruel animal experimenter named Tipu Aziz, whose work has been heavily criticised by other scientists in his field of neuroscience.
Over the next couple of years, Felix will be kept in isolation in a small cage and will have to endure a long succession of tests in which he will be tortured.
