Ok, A friend of mine who is black and used to luv & support Barack Obama now hates him with a passion and compares him to Hitler, Satan, and also accuses him of infantiside and other shit like it...

It scares me cause I luv the guy, he's a good friend, and has been there for me in bad times before.... but now I don't know what's up anymore... Like I'm scared to confront him and be like "what the f*** are you thinking???" or something like that... He's a very intelligent person too.. it's not like he's just some idiot who believes what some particular media tells him to believe... he's very independent... Like he's highly religious, but also supports gay marriage, and other issues that aren't nomally associated with religious poeople...

It's creepy to me... and I don't know how to confront him about it, can't keep pretending like I'm cool with it cause I'm not and it'll only make him think that I'm beginning to agree with this stuff... I think he may think that now actually... This is why I must say something... but what exactly??? plus I'm worried that he'll send me to hell like he's sent others who now disagree with him over this issue ... he's not affraid to say it... he doesn't want to be associated with people who support and/or "worship" Obama like people worshipped Hitler, according to him...
It's sad cause he used to be so happy about Obama potentially becoming Prez for the longest time, he even said he felt inpired to get involved in politics, and now this....

I understand that you feel a responsibility to your friend and you want to make it clear that you don't support his beliefs. It probably makes very little difference. You didn't talk him into this and you won't talk him out of it.

My advice is to maintain the friendship but get a little distance. The way you feel something will be said that will lead to a blow-up.

There are conspiracies in the world, but I looked at a couple of those videos and thought that they were pretty poor. Even if it was true, the video should make you embarrassed to say you believe it.
