Re: have anybody ever heard of this cd box?

nobody?

The J Files was a late night radio show on Triple J in Australia. It was usually a John pell-esque retrosepctive of an artists work, splicing interviews with rare and obscure tracks, plus usually a quiz.

The release mentioned would definitely be a bootleg. Triple J very rarely make copies of J-Files (usually CD-Rs for people involved in a particular show)*, but never official released like the aforementioned item.

*I was involved in a Mike Patton J-File so was lucky enough for them to make me a copy.

I have this one. It's a CD-R set, not factory pressed as stated. Pretty good set, but I can't tell if it's from preFM or just an FM recording.
