Tomorrow is the day that we eat at the Cheesecake Factory at the mall (which isn't particularly special because we probably eat there 20 times a year but my mom is a creature of habit) and I just smile and nod at the fact that she's ordered a second helping of butter pats for the table after screaming at the waitress across the room because she likes to eat three pats per bread slice "and make sure it's fresh bread" and I DON'T say "Mom pull it together and go easy on the butter it embarrassing!" because it's Mother's Day.
