Hand In Glove model: Leo Ford info..

I breezed through the new, 'Uncut' magazine with The Smiths on the cover & the artical said this model's name was Leo Ford. When I did research on google this is pretty much the only pic that comes up. It's a shot of his face not his bum. Strange it just doesn't seem like the same person. Can anyone comfirm? It's a common mistake.

The photo is in fact of George O'Mara and was taken by Lou Thomas of Target Studio in San Francisco circa 1972. It was lifted from Margaret Walter's 1978 book "The Nude Male" (where it was incorrectly credited as taken by Jim French). What appears to be a mole is actually a stain as it didn't appear on the original photograph.

Many years ago someone sent me a link to a webpage where you could see the original photo along with others from the same session, but I don't think I kept it. I think it was the photographer's webpage, but I could be wrong.
