Guilty Pleasures (music-wise)?

The exception to this rule is Robert Smith, whose broad and loyal fanbase can only be explained by mass psychosis.

If Robert Smith never recorded anything after Pornography, he'd have already earned that kind of love. :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:

As proclaimed in South Park, Disintegration is the greatest ever album of all time. Conclusive proof that both of you are woefully mistaken.

The Hacienda period IS NOT guilty but anything after 2000-2004 is.

My mother, my mother's friends, my father's friends, my uncle, my sister, my 'then' close friends were all at the helm of the Acid House era and 2000 era, so really, it was always going to be inevitable that these choices were always going to be guilty pleasures.

It's just this one song... and i swear to God (note - I'm atheist). I don't know any of his other tunes or any similar artists for that matter... but i do love this song (and i'm going to regret posting this, but)....

I have always had a huge non-guilty pleasure for Tool. I think Maynard had a lot of great lyrics, a great voice, and an amazing progressive metal/psychedelic sound. I especially love their second and third albums. I have seen them live several times since 1992, and they always put on an amazing live performance-one of my favorite gigs of all time was in 2001 with Tricky supporting. Another band with OTT, die-hard, mental fans too, that also follow the tour. Many of them are very nerdy/weird and over-analyze everything about the band, just like.....

Wow these songs take me back, especially the songs Barber's..., Get Get Down, Chase the Sun, Cafe Del Mar and Touch Me. They were my fave songs at college, I used to love dance music.

I don't have many guilty pleasures, a lot of 80s music I like, some classic ballads and a few pop songs that's about it.

Fake Plastic Tree by Radioheads.
I can't flipping stand Radioheads (and everything they represent) but that song is an absolutely corker.
Oh, and 'I'm Free' by Oasis ain't bad either!

Jack Johnson "At Or With Me"
Katie Perry "Teenage Dream"......just a great summer tune

Blue eyes again:)

My guilty pleasure is Muse. To me a guilty pleasure is a band that I think is bad or annoying, but can't help but still like. I don't really care what other people think about what I listen to, I care about what I listen to.

Muse are cool! :)
I know I'm older than them, but my son loves them,
and I can't help liking them quite a lot as well.
That singer is a crack up. He's such a show off:guitar:
Oh, to be young and successful. What a life.:thumb:

(like in Andersen's fairytale-Kai and Gerda)
