Great British Music debate - on BBC radio 2 now.

"Long Live The U.K. Music Scene"

"Your fake popstars, fake popstars

You'll never sell more records than Gina G"

Just put it on to hear The Beautiful South

Has it been bobbins?

Just a bit dull - probably tried to cram to much into the hour. I can't remember one thing that's worth mentioning.

No Moz references except in listing Lillywhite's work. Jeremy should have asked him whether he'd been approached for the new album.

My mum tells me that he (JVine) is playing Moz all the time on his afternoon show. The new style Radio 2 could be good for the new album with JV, Janice and quite a few other fans there.

Very true. I have heard a few Smiths songs played on there. Oh dear, I've openly admitted I listen to Radio 2!!
