I can't answer your question but i had a bizarre experience listening to this song the other day. i was listening eyes closed kind of dozing/in a trance and suddenly i 'got it', the song made complete sense, had a universal message and i felt euphoric. then it ended and i snapped out of it. i've tried to recall what the hell was going through my mind but can't remember..highly annoying.

i'm not on drugs or mad by the way! been dying to share that, sorry!

Though he could have been lying, as he does in interviews.
