GENTLE, GENTLE GENTLENESS

Never trust the children of millionaires. Morrissey is cancelled for many years now and desperate with zero good taste, rather like those famous cardboard sausages.
Chrissie Hynde, maccartney -the old one, morrissey, marr, they are all Pinocchios. Thinking they are King's but they all have very long ugly noses. I 100% denounce them all. Adinfinitum
Interesting nugas agis you’ve written there

Traditional, conventional silk production means killing silk moths for every intact strand. https://www.stellamccartney.com/gb/en/sustainability/silk.html

Trying to justify the breeding, exploitation and killing of sheep for the wool industry. https://www.stellamccartney.com/gb/en/sustainability/wool.html
What a beautiful website! Rather than justifying killing, much care is taken to explain what is involved in humane harvesting of natural materials, in a way that I find responsible and educational 🪱 :sheep: 🫶

It’s ethics washing, the website admits that their silk is harvested in the traditional way which means killing the silk moth each time to keep the thread intact. The sheep are bred and exploited, do you think they like being grabbed by humans and then roughly clipped?

All unnecessary. She is wealthy and influential enough to eschew the usage of wool and silk.

It would be better if she did, for sure.

Not necessarily, I feel. Biodiversity, which keeps the world going round, teems with creatures and plants in symbiotic relationships. Removing predators can destroy ecosystems. Predation can be dressed up, like Milk is Murder eloquently put it, as ethics washing, most especially in industrial farming whose massive warehouses are often remote without public access. Ethics aren't black and white. People trying to ensure creatures they are removing something from, have quality of life, healthy supportive habitats with minimal suffering, may be catering for some of the most valuable essential complex needs. Chris Smee argues for something similar - https://www.resilience.org/stories/2023-04-20/saying-no-to-a-farm-free-future/

You who take the beings' sides also give hope 💕
