The day I was born.
Cancel it indefinitely.

Today. I would have flown to Paris for lunch.

Perfectly articulated! *raises glass*
Seriously, such economy, such concision, a wonderful statement!
However tragically belated, I prayerfully undersign this post.

I think your articulation surpasses the first post.

Why the name Codreanu?

Is this the inspiration for your name?

While it goes without saying, that I do not subscribe in toto to the historical Codreanu's belief system, my adoption of this moniker is justified by these poor rationalizations: 1) I am a Rightist. 1a) I am a damn good-looking Rightist (Que: *Laughter*) 2) The hyper-romanticism that I associate with the historical 'Codreanu.' 3) An especial affection for the rumanian peoples (Alright, honestly, one in particular!) 4) The militancy of my religious sensibility.
While I may be faulted through insensitivety, I, to be quite frank, intend as much, to underscore the thoroughness of revolt against modernity.
Thank you for asking

Well, thank you very much for answering my question. You do indeed look Romanian, if in fact that is your picture in your user profile. Are you a Fundamentalist Christian? Do you wish to return to the good ol' days? Why is modernity undesirable?

Let me thank you for saying that I appear to be Romanian! It really means a lot that such would be imputed to me --honestly, I am of welsh derivation, and happen to be mildly fixated upon one of rumanian descent ...

I do not identify with the term "fundimentalist" -- even though, as a traditional Catholic, I happen to subscribe to much of what happens to be encompassed by this unfortunate term.

If you are curious as to a critique of modernism, I know of no better place to begin than here: http://jkalb.org/?q=node/7

Best wishes,
Codreanu

Granted, this is an ad hoc rationalization --I admit as much, I had adopted this moniker beore such was the case.
