Carlisle was cut off which is quite serious as its quite a big city. Winds werent the best, guys were picking up tiles that had been blown off the local shopping centre, and structural damage was done to this footie stadium my team played at today, was going to be called off. But everyone i know is ok, my thoughts are lying in asia at the moment to be honest...

the winds got rid of the christmas tree lying in our garden ready to be took to the tip. Saved us a job. Woke up and was shit scared though in the middle of the night cause me windows were open and curtains blowing everywhere.

My windows weren't open but the curtains were still blowing. I think the draught managed to pull a poster down somehow. Ooh I hate the sound of the wind when it blows like that, whistling through like some old horror movie!
