went for suffer the little children but also really like lonliness remembers what happiness forgets.

Only a pawn. But prob cos I feared the worst, and it turned out pretty good so it has double the impact.
Some say I got devil is good, but it doesn’t really go anywhere, like most the songs on the album.

"Wedding Bell Blues". I like all three versions of the song, but I prefer the original.

1. Laura Nyro
2. Fifth Dimension
3. Morrissey

Suffer the Little Children is the most spectacular make-over, also suits Moz really Well lyric-wise.
Other early faves are Days of Decision and obviously Some Say I Got Devil.

Lady Willpower
It's Over

Lenny's Tune (not bad, but Nico's version has more impact for me)

I actually love every song so far on this album. Most recent albums have at least one song I am not crazy about;
Ringleader - At Last I Am Born, Father Who Must
Refusal - You Were Good in Your Time
World Peace - Kick the Bride, Smiler, Kiss Me a Lot
High School - Girl From Tel-Aviv

All in all, EXTREMELY happy with this release.

"When You Close Your Eyes" sounds like a quirky leftover from his 93/94 recording period. I absolutely love this dreamy thing.

My early favourite is Suffer the Little Children which I think is a vast improvement on the original. I also really like Lenny's Tune and Some Say I Got Devil.

It funny how most reviews are saying it's a mixed album when it seems like one of his most consistent. None are weak to me.

Funny, but When You Close Your Eyes is about the only one I haven't really connected with. Though it does make the subversion of it with When You Open Your Legs quite amusing. I hadn't got that reference before.

I voted for Lady Willpower as I think it's a great song well sung.

Suffer the Little Children, Days of Decision and Some Say I Got Devil are all excellent as well though and significantly different from the originals.

On Twitter the guy who wrote When You Close Your Eyes with Carly Simon was contacted about the cover, and he really liked Morrissey’s version.

1. Lady Willpower
1. Only A Pawn In Their Game
2. Morning Starship
3. It's Over

Suffer the Little Children for the obvious reasons, it’s gonna be great live.

Really like When you close your eyes,
the dreamy vibe of it made me think of 10cc’s I’m not in love, a little.

Loneliness Remembers sounds like
the song the Smiths didn’t get the chance to cover.

Lenny’s tune made me think of Southpaw with lines about mother/ma.

Great record start to finish.

My 3 favorites: Don't Interrupt The Sorrow, Morning Starship & Lady Willpower. But I like a lot the other songs too, so it's a difficult decision.
