You heard the title. This is a hard question, I know….
Here's my attempt:
The Smiths, 1984
F: Reel Around the Fountain
LF: Miserable Lie

Meat is Murder, 1985
F: Rusholme Ruffians
LF: Meat is Murder

The Queen is Dead, 1986
F: Cemetry Gates
LF: The Queen is Dead

Strangeways Here We Come, 1987
F: Girlfriend in a Coma
LF: Death of a Disco Dancer

So, some were easy; others… were not.
For one, Well I Wonder, I Know it's Over, & I Won't Share You are all ties with the three I picked, and how can you pick a least favorite off The Queen is Dead? Or a favorite for that matter! But I tried my best- & I'd love to hear yours. Oh and the only Smiths song I would say I don't like is Meat is Murder, making the least favorite an easy decision on all but TQID, because I already knew the others, but other than MIM, I can't say I dislike any Smiths song, so it feels wrong to have a "least favorite" even though you already know it's sometimes the one you just have to "get through".
Anyway, 'nough of that.
