I know this. I explained my idiosyncratic weight gain as a result of my effort to mitigate the nausea, a close cousin of nervousness. And the anorexic effect of stimulants are only temporary...unless you escalate the dosage.

Well Elvis lost a hell of a lot of weight to turn up for the signing of something or other...then again he was only 35 at the time...as a result of over-indulgence in "diet" (speed) pills.
A quick fix is needed occassionally.
I do know of certain Doc's here who are more than happy to prescribe "diet" pills.
I just thought, it would be cheaper importing them.

Most diet-pills (class iii and iv) prescribed today are rather feeble compared to what once was given: preludin (sp?) and the amphetamines; the anoretic effects are very slight indeed. If you honestly want the more powerful euphoro-stimulants like amphetamine and methylphenadate you are going to have to feign narcolepsy or "adult ADHD" (what a crock.) But do not ask me to assist you in this; you are on your own.
