Just a guess, but as no physical releases have been forthcoming...
3 singles + (3x) 2 bsides on a conventional single possibly equals 6 extra tracks on the 'deluxe' album.

My iTunes says it isn't available yet.

The production is orgasmic. It couldn't be better.

now, if only I had/weren't too lazy to make a spotify account. someone post the 128Kbps stream, thanks. >:3

No it ain't! It's my least favourite track so far. The latin thing has been done much better a la 'When i last spoke to Carol'.

So far I have a good song, a fkn great song and a meh... song, although I have a feeling 'Earth...' is a grower. Onward and upward!

I am still hoping for a physical release of these singles , it would look very very odd to me otherwise.....not normal. It would be very disappointing :tears:

      Cheers Moz

It's kind of disappointing, the live version is better. The production quality is still top notch, but there's a few creative choices going on in the song that I'm not sold on it. The guitar sounds a little amateur hour, like someone is learning how to play, it feels like it's missing chords, it doesn't flow properly...like the person playing (lol Jesse, probably Boz) can almost get it but they miss a bit out. I don't know, there's something just kind of off about the whole song. A bit disappointing after the great Istanbul and how much I enjoy the love version of the track.

I'm hoping that the 'deluxe bonus tracks' find their way onto the CD release as I have a feeling you won't be able to download those songs individually, rather you'll have to download the album in its entirety to get access to those extra songs. I have everything else on cd and I'm not prepared to 'go digital'. Also don't really want to pay for the cd and purchase separately through itunes when I can just rip the cd to my library. Capitol need to get a press release out to confirm a deluxe cd edition with these tracks.

I should say though, with the production I really am surprised. I know the songs themselves had been written for a long time and so that would have helped streamline the studio process. But it still felt like they were in studio for next to no time at all and then the album release date was announced so soon afterwards. It made me fearful of a rush job, but if anything it is still sounding like one of the more measured and considered recordings he's done. A lot of that has to go to a producer who just knows his shit, has a vision and followed it through immediately and clicked well with Moz.

Nowhere near as good as Istanbul. Although the promo video was good.

Are people actually buying this now? You still can't download it on the UK iTunes - which is a shame as the excerpt sounds like a vast improvement on the live version.
