Re: Morrissey, Dublin gig 23rd November

Phew thanks!
Just started a new thread looking for any info!
Ticket BASTARD, here I come!

Re: Morrissey, Dublin gig 23rd November

It's added to the tour page as well on http://www.itsmorrisseysworld.com/tour.php
Here we go again!
Could any kindly Dubs assist with info, I've never been to the National Stadium before. Is it all standing only, what kind of size is it, is it a decent venue, etc.?
I can feel temptation whispering

It's near enough to the city centre, Joe. Also, I believe, the site of Morrissey's first strictly solo gig, ie:without former Smiths members.

I haven't been there in years, but the capacity is around 2,000, I see, and seems a mix of the usual seating/standing.

It's used a lot for sporting events.

Hope this helps.:)

oh darn, looks like another ferry trip from hell for me then,

why a monday though?
and again why no OFFICIAL announcement, and how many more dates can we expect to dribble through, we need to know them all in one go really so those of us who arent Julia can pick which ones we can make it to the easiest.

Cheers for that, Punky.:thumb:

Is it me, or are the ticket prices a bit steeper than normal?

Surely he could offer a discount for Swords locals ?

aww dont live there anymore not that I could afford to go anyway:tears:

Great news

Thanks for the tip off Mr Ghost.

I was lucky enough to see Morrissey for the first time at the Stadium back in 1991 and what a gig it was. Ticket prices do seem a bit pricey but no complaints as I was planning to go to Liverpool to see him and that would have cost a fortune.

Roll on November

No probs, mate.

He might play "Boxers" again after all these years!

I remember some great pictures from that gig in the NME, not sure if it was Mr Cummins again.
