Dublin house once owned by Morrissey for sale

An anonymous person writes:

The interior has been redesigned since Morrissey sold it. Its also believed that he made £900,000 from the sale.

Quaint yet unconventional - The Irish Times

Excerpt:

DUBLIN 17 €875,000: Bow-sided Georgian house that surprises by presenting like a very modern boutique hotel, writes EDEL MORGAN

FROM THE outside Wellfield House, off the Malahide Road in Balgriffin, Dublin 17, is a quaint bow-sided Georgian house with the unusual but attractive addition of a bell tower to the rear.

...Prior to Devey’s ownership until about 2000 when he sold it to a private investor, singer Morrissey owned it for a brief period and is believed to have made £900,000 when he sold it in 1997. Before that it was owned by businessman Ulick McEvaddy.

Ironically, the old house on Kings Road is owned by the local housing association and is unlikely to ever come up for sale.

That's got to be the most isolated open spaced toilet ever.
That's a bit harsh. Dublin's not what it once was I grant you, but still...

If Morrissey made 900K on it, someone sure lost a lot if it is selling for 875K now.

Made GBP900,000. Didn't realise that Morrissey was such a capitalist. Maybe he has been secretly voting conservative all this time.
What's wrong with paying the market value for a house when you buy it, then accepting the market value when you sell it? Sometimes it's in the sellers favour , sometimes it isn't.

No idea why everyone is being so snarky, I think it's a great pad unusual shape, period features on the outside ultra modern on the inside, nice pad.
