Can someone explain what everyone is throwing their toys out of the pram over?

I guess Morrissey cancelled IOW? Reasons sound legit - I'd much rather have a new album than spend the day at Black Gang Chine! Plus losing a drummer (how careless!) is a major issue...

How is Sanctuary to blame for all this?

Please bring me up to speed...
