I was just listening to the original today, and thinking that I should dedicate it to Morrissey on this thread. These lines remind me of him a lot for some reason:

I love that song! Every summer Perry Como played in our area when I was in high school and college and every year I said 'maybe next year' and I never did go to see him. He died in 2001. I said then I'd never put off seeing people I want to hear live anymore. I saw the amazing Lou Rawls the year before he died because of that and I'm so grateful.
