Dedicate a song to Morrissey

gretchen- There's nothing wrong with a bit of Barry Manilow love. I occasionally indulge in it myself.:blushing:
This cover of ' Pale blue eyes' by Rodolphe Burger (french singer and great great guitar player):

I was just listening to the original today, and thinking that I should dedicate it to Morrissey on this thread. :) These lines remind me of him a lot for some reason:

"If I could make the world as pure and strange as what I see,
I'd put you in the mirror,
I put in front of me"

Could someone possibly embed it for me? Thanks.

Oh, Squishy!!

I love that song! Every summer Perry Como played in our area when I was in high school and college and every year I said 'maybe next year' and I never did go to see him. He died in 2001. I said then I'd never put off seeing people I want to hear live anymore. I saw the amazing Lou Rawls the year before he died because of that and I'm so grateful.

My secret's my enzyme.
I actually sat through that entire techno tetris video because the song is so good. :p

I think I would choose, " I Want You" by Bob Dylan.

"Well, I return to the Queen of Spades
And talk with my chambermaid.
She knows that I'm not afraid
To look at her.
She is good to me
And there's nothing she doesn't see.
She knows where I'd like to be
But it doesn't matter.
I want you, I want you,
I want you so bad,
Honey, I want you."

hand in glove

Life is never kind
Well, I have always loved this song, and I think if I had to sing to Morrissey, this would be it!

Today, Tomorrow, and Forever

How warm is the love in my heart for you
As warm as the sun in the sky of blue
How long will it shine if you say you're mine
Today, tomorrow and forever

How strong was my love from the very start
How long will it last in my happy heart
How much would I cry if we'd ever part
Today, tomorrow and forever

'Cause if you weren't there to share my love
Who cares if the sky should fall
For anyone can see how much you mean to me
You're my life, my love, my very all

And as long as the tides of the ocean flow
As long as the trees and the flowers grow
So long, oh my love, will I love you so
Today, tomorrow and forever

And forever
