I note that Christopher Hitchen's The Trial of Henry Kissinger is listed as one of David Bowie's 100 must-read books so I don't think he shared your idiotic opinion.

He is very sensitive and lashes out before thinking. I know people criticize his band but they all get along very well, thank god for his band and especially Damon, i think he would be cripled without him. I do believe he has changed quite a bit in the last couple of years but it was really sad when he announced he wouldn't play any more UK dates, sad for the fans. If you watch before the first song in one of the London dates, he looks as if he is about to cry. All i all, he blows me away and love isn't a strong enough word.

Well I've come to the conclusion that it's NOT a case of snot nosed junior high ribbing after all ! This is all so out of character for Steve, he's always penned a fair dramatic death statement in the past. We've not even had the heartfelt emotion/thanks and top ten chart dates for the South American tour.
