Morrissey Central "DAILY MAIL" (May 12, 2023)

The Daily Mail 'news' paper is planning a hit-piece on Morrissey. The Daily Mail is scrambling around for grime and gossip to discredit Morrissey once again. Please do not credit The Daily Mail with any views of their hyperbolic clickbait.

Sometimes dreams do come true and for Uncle Skinny.. a wet dream is about to come true.
Not only is he going to have to agree with a Daily Mail article, he’ll probably be quoted in the bloody thing.
“Even Bradford-based vehement anti-trans campaigner, UnklePeter - famed for saying "Morrissey's ability to create a mystical relationship between himself and his audience, coupled with the fact that he really speaks his mind, is what makes a him a real icon. I think he really embodies Britishness and this is reflected in the impact he makes on peoples' day-to-day lives" - admits to only playing Morrissey records most of the time rather than all the time. When questioned about his views, UnklePeter repeatedly shouted, ‘Do you want the Tories out or not?!’ Sensing a mental health crisis, our intrepid reporter left asap”

Have Alain and Gustavo sold their story of working with Morrissey woes?! :fearscream:;)

No, but the confusion caused by the departure of the two of them, coupled with having one ready-to-be-released LP being 'held hostage' and another fully recorded LP with nobody releasing it yet...there's real trouble in the Morrissey business - and that's what they could write about.

It seems that when Morrissey is treading water/doing well all they can write about are his comments and/or his politics - which is superficial and silly mostly. Now, Morrissey isn't doing as well as he would like, and they actually have something concrete to write about regarding the recent problems, which compared to comments/personal politics, these problems seem gigantic.

The fact that even the mastermind Moz committee here on Solo can't come up with possible ideas for a hit piece worthy article makes me think there's hope they have nothing in particular.
I suspect they have damning footage of our Moz playing Kraftwerk records while wailing that he wished he could sing as well as the vocals on The Robots, just before he signs it and sticks a £400 price tag on.

crazy idea: a Daily Mail caught this on Reddit and thought it was a story worth telling.

I can't see much for the Mail there - Miley had to be removed from the album which caused a delay & Central posted things that made Bonfire likely to get badly reviewed in America.

I mean just in the sense that, if this is what their article is about, they could have gotten the idea from there. Or from anywhere really lol

I do not think there could be much "dirt" to this story, but there's always a negative spin to be put.
