How would Mike benefit financially from being kind to Moz in the press?

Two views could be .. Even though Mike says there shouldn’t be a reunion, being nice might be his way of keeping one foot in the door, or at least a toe. And/or being nice in general to cover up the fact that he was a scoundrel ( some see him that way) for dragging his friends into court.
