I knew him from going to Morrissey shows now and then, and I know some of the people he associated with. I think that the first time I met him was years ago at the Hop Farm festival, which was one of his first Morrissey concerts IIRC. I witnessed personally two occasions where fans (ones I had never seen before btw, not “regulars”), were searching for him outside of venues because he sold them fake tickets. I’ve heard of this happening much more frequently than that, but those are the two I witnessed.
