So what do we think so far?

'You Overdid It Doll' seems pretty good to me, though I've not had a proper chance to listen to it yet. 'Cross My Heart...' is quite lovely, a real volume-up song.

Anyone heard/got the full thing yet? What d'you reckon?

I've only heard those two too, plus the Sycophant remix on the b-side of Cross My Heart... I think it's gonna be a great record. I have the 2CD pre-ordered.

No, it comes out next month, but I have a ripped version from the radio, although it cuts off at the end, but it's not missing much. I really like it!

I'm listening to Falcon, and so far, I really like it. I'm about halfway done, and I think it's a fantastic album.

mozsupportsrovers posted this on Strange/unexpected Moz references thread.

Might be jumping to conclusions, but on the last song of the new
courteeners album, the song will it be this way forever? Contains the lines....

Angel as you go down, I'll let you know tomorrow
change your plea to guilty and another day we'll
borrow

just thought liam might have been listening to a few early moz albums when he wrote these lines

I really like the album, I've listened to it a couple times today. Does anyone have the You Overdid It Doll b-sides? I only have I Never Wanted To.

Have listened to it a few times now and can't say it's moved me in any way. First half sounds like it could come straight from a Killers album (and do we really need a new Killers album?). Seems someone got a new synth and was so excited they forgot to unpack the guitars. Things improve slightly in the second half but not by any significant degree. Liam's lyric book must have been a bit empty too. All a bit meh...

Yes, I do think that we need a new Killers album. I think the synths in this album are great, and there are guitars in it, it's just not the main focus of the album, like it was for St. Jude. It's nice to hear some different things from bands, and this one works out for me.

I've not got this yet, but hopefully will soon as I loved St Jude.

Hello Charlotte,

I recommend this album wholeheartedly, it is brilliant!
Different to St Jude but brilliant nonetheless.

Stand out tracks are:

Sycophant
Lullaby
The Opener
Will It Be This Way Forever?
You Overdid It Doll

If you can, try to get hold of the deluxe edition. All 5 extra tracks are great, especially Bojangles and the new version of Revolver.

Are my clothes alright?
Is my hair alright?
You can say what you want
'cause it's what we like
