Conjecture: Morrissey on Conan, Letterman?

Good morning, everybody:

I was glancing at the Tour page today and noticed that there is a day off between Asbury Park on October 7 and the two Radio City Music Hall shows on the 9th and 10th. Has anyone heard an idle chatter about Morrissey appearing on Late Night With Conan O'Brien or David Letterman on the off-day? (The 8th is a Friday.)

It certainly would be nice to see him on perform on American TV one more time before tour's end. The 1997 appearance on Letterman was a treat.

Jamie, I would MUCH prefer to see Mozzer on Letterman than Conan O'Brien any day any day any day!
