The added tracks on the re-issues are usually b-sides or unreleased songs from the respective album eras, but there are some rather weird exceptions. Fantastic Bird on the Southpaw re-issue comes to mind, which was in fact recorded around Your Arsenal.

Most people who I have heard saying that everything from Quarry onwards has been poor (both on and off this site) are generally people who blame him for the end of The Smiths and have never given his solo career much of a chance.
The "Morrissey is such a racist, Johnny Marr was the talent anyway" brigade.
I've always found it fascinating how Morrissey comes back in 2004 with the most commercially successful album and set of singles of his career, embarks on a wildly popular tour and yet there's the same old faces trying to play it down.

Think "Morrissey has been shit since 2004" has got to be a pretty niche viewpoint. I'm sure there are some out there, but there can't be huge numbers who think that Quarry and Ringleader are terrible albums, whereas Maladjusted is brilliant.
