He was in great spirits tonight, much more than he was in Pittsburgh. Lots of setlist changeups: No "Maladjusted," but "Irish Blood," "First of the Gang"(!) And "People are the Same Everywhere." Lots of energy + great crowd, too.

More upbeat than Pittsburgh + Moz was in great spirits. No Maladjusted, but we did get Irish Blood, First of the Gang and People Are the Same. High energy show!

Dropped "Maladjusted" and "To Give" from the Pittsburgh date. (Did he also drop "You Have Killed Me"? It's all a blur, I can't recall.) Glad I got to hear "Irish Blood, English Heart" and "First of the Gang to Die" live. Even though I couldn't bring myself to watch more than a few seconds of the video, I actually really like the version of "Meat is Murder" that they play, it almost verges on stoner rock towards the end. Great show, better than Pittsburgh.

It was worth the admission just to hear "I Know it's Over". I waited over 20 years to hear that live.

So great. Morrissey looked amazing and sounded perfect. Great venue and the crowd was super energetic and lots of super fans up front!
I really loved the performance of Speedway, and I Know It's Over. Also a very intimate performance of Please Please Please...

Towards the middle, he went on a rant of sorts talking about how all human beings are wretched, wretched, wretched, and if you think that's not true, you're wrong - humans are made up of wretchedness, every one of them. And the second you die, you die wretched. Wretched.
Then someone yelled, "I hate you Morrissey!!" and he replied, "That's okay. A lot of people do."
The whole thing was quite comical I thought. Oh, Morrissey!
Unfortunately there was a kind of mote/abyss separating the crowd from the stage, so no stage invasions.
He passed the mic to the crowd too, someone requested "Frankly, Mr. Shankly", which was met with an "Absolutely not. Never."
Someone else said, "Morrissey, you have changed everybody here's lives", which was received with great cheers and applause from the crowd.

Still Ill was awesome too! And personally, I'm so proud of Morrissey for taking a stand (as always) and showing that horrible video during Meat is Murder. It's terrible to watch, but it's the reality of what goes on, and he's really making a huge difference. To people that haven't seen that before, it can be life-changing.
"it only hurts because it's true..."

VIVA MOZ. Thank you for an amazing night. xoxoxo

Awesome show!!! I was in the front row :) The song excerpt within "Speedway" was from "Miserable Lie." He sang the part about: "I'm just a country-mile behind the world."

So when Morrissey went on his rant about everyone and everything being wretched and the guy yelled "I hate you." do you sense the guy was picking up on his sarcasm and being sarcastic back? Because that bit is getting massively lost in translation on AYNIM. But if it was sarcasm its hilarious.

No, I'm sure he paid good money for his one chance to tell Morrissey how much he hates him.

Someone else said, "Morrissey, you have changed everybody here's lives", which was received with great cheers and applause from the crowd.

That was me! I was hoping to shake his hand during the show, but was given a bigger gift by being able to share my thought with the crowd and Morrissey. Great show, had a great time, and met some great people.

Hands down, that was the best I've ever heard him sing that song. Even better than the studio version.

I'd read so many negative reviews of the venue that I thought it would be a big waste of money but at least up in the balcony the views were great and only obstructed by one drunkass old lady dancing! I thought Action is My Middle Name was the highlight of the show. I'd seen it performed on Letterman but I thought this version was much better. I saw several people leave during Meat is Murder but it didn't faze me, plus I figured the encore would be How Soon is Now? An awesome show that was worth the 20 minute wait in freezing temps outside!
