The debut solo album from the Cocteau Twins frontwoman Elizabeth Fraser is set to be released in the Spring of 2007. According to www.cocteautwinsforums.com the album will feature 8 new tracks and 1 cover version. The album should reportedly be released through Blanco y Negro Records, also home to Melanie C and Bob Sinclar. Although this will be the very first solo album for Frazer she already released solo material back in 2000. The white label recording called "Underwater" was released in a limited edition of only 200 which made it an instant collector's item (check the link below to download the complete track http://www.elizabethfraser.com/h/sound.html). She currently resides with her partner, Damon Reece (Lupine Howl, Spiritualized) in Bristol, England. In related news, Frazer has been chosen to compose contemporary sounds to run alongside a Shakespearean sonnet. Also contributing to the project is Antony Hegarty, lead singer from Antony and the Johnsons.
