Martin & Richard of The Boyfriends will be playing a one-off live acoustic performance at SON OF A GUN on Saturday 6th May.
The Boyfriends are all set to go massive. The NME declared them #29 in a list of the 50 essential bands to catch last summer. In June 2005 they hit the headlines & made history by being the first band ever to play the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury. The start of 2006 has seen the band supporting the mighty Morrissey on tour in Europe after being hand-picked by Moz himself. With a full debut album being primed for release, we'll be welcoming them to Filthy MacNasty's a mere two days before the release of their sparkly new single 'Adult Acne' for this special acoustic session.
Plus...DJ sets from Fallout, TexasRadio & a few guests: thrashing the decks with sounds from Arctic’s to Zeppelin’s.
Get involved…
