Close-ups of font on my "Mystery poster"

Here are close-ups of the font. Looks similar to the font on TQiD, except the tracking(?) is higher.

I think you're probably right about it being a promo through a mag. The DPI on it is quite low- perhaps 72 on the black and white images. But i don't know, maybe the 'newsprint' effect was done on purpose...
