ive read an piece recenty where a journalist wonders about the chavs bashing in the british media and by the middle class and compare chavs to working class "heroes" like oasis who come from an also poor background but are more accepted as their way of dressing is more aceptable to middle class people..he also refers to an article about chavs Julie Burchill wrote for the times
