There is absolutely no difference between a beefburger and a cheese panini?

Ok mate !??!??!

Where does Goats Cheese fit in to your increasingly absurd rantings? You really should do something constructive with your time rather than suffering from Keyboard Asperger syndrome

Goat Cheese Is The New Veal. You should do something more constructive with your time such as googling issues rather than impertinently address me. Here's two links for you to stick in your brain, damaged perhaps by eating a Morrissey The Consumer Monkey Cheezy Panini. Read then and join up the dots. Hamburgers and Cheese Paninis are the same thing. One is sold at a Morrissey concert, one is banned because Morrissey has a phobia about meat/blood but not one about pus/milk. His phobia is irrelevant to the animals, they don't care if they are tortured and slaughtered for hamburgers, cheezy paninis or to provide Shock schlock horror concert footage for Morrissey's fake 'animal rights' schtick.

Your casual mockery of Austism Spectrum is what I'd expect from a Morrissey cult casualty.

I didn't tell my sons that farmers all over the cheese belt of America are banging goat babies on the head to kill them as soon as they are born.

If this were a PETA blog, there would be really gross pictures. But my kids go to school with tons of dairy farm kids, so I have to be careful.

The 'cruel' goat farm where activists claim animals have the tips of their horns burned off with a metal tool to save money as demand for milk and cheese grows

  • Farm filmed supplies Sainsbury's and Co-op
  • Shocking footage also showed carcasses of dead nanny and kid goats

Some people give veganism a bad name and detract and distract from animal welfare - which is a shame.

Anyway, back to the subject: The capacity of the Cardiff Arena appears to be 7,500 which is a big venue to sell out on a Tuesday night, so I'm not surprised that it didn't. I don't know how many thousands Morrissey played to but I hope they had a good time and some good will come of the messages he's promoting

Yes, I agree that Morrissey and PETA give Veganism a bad name and detract from animal welfare issues by setting up their totally bogus stall in Cardiff.

It was a Wednesday night, not a Tuesday night. Paloma Faith played there on Tuesday and sold out. As did Lionel Ritchie on Monday night. Morrissey is not as popular in South Wales as Paloma or Lionel. Who knew? *smirks*

Agree, it's ridiculous that you have to go on Twitter to find out about a gig as this Morrissey site has become bogged down with all this crap. One answer would be for the mods to tell folks to put other stuff in another thread other than the gig thread.

Could you elaborate on how you define a 'gig'? Do you just mean the songs played? There's lots of other stuff here about burger vans outside so it appears your complaining about stuff you don't like. Stuff which you could easily ignore but choose not to. Twitter is an excellent source for information about the gig. That's where I found the incriminating evidence that Morrissey is still selling Cheese at his gigs, whilst banning Meat and inviting PETA to join the gig. Do you really think these factors are not part of the gig experience? *rollseyes*

Thanks for that but I've bigger fish to fry. so subsequently I have the sum interest of minus zero in this.

Nice link to the Daily Fail there too, how apt

Sometimes I am confused by such statements because I really thought the audience had realized by now that there is no big touring future for Moz ahead anymore. Therefore there is nothing to rethink. We won't wake up tomorrow and see Moz announce extensive tours around the world. He will add some smaller venues here and there but because the total number of gigs will be reduced there have to be bigger venues.

But last night's gig was half full, he would have been better off playing St David's Hall or the Wales Millenium Centre both of which would have sold-out and been more intimate for performer and audience.

I thought he was a bit pissed off at the start of the gig with the numbers but he seemed to get into it once he started singing his new stuff.

There's substance to the wry mocking but really is there any need on a review of a gig to post multiple long-winded streams of consciousness concerning a C-list singer who you supposedly think is a hypocritical failed cheese-eating surrender monkey? And he still cannot speak French.

It's a nice day outside, spring is on its way and all you can do is complain about cheese paninis in the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena.

I'm no doctor but there must be healthier ways to spend your free time.

13 posts on a gig you didn't attend. That's f***ing amazing

Of course there's substance to my wry mocking. That's why it infuriates some, amuses others and give yet more readers cause to pause and think about the sincerity behind Morrissey's supposed animal rights topics at gigs. He is indeed a hypocrite.

It is NOT a nice day outside, there is a moderate smog alert which covers Cardiff. One can only hope and pray that Morrissey is protected by 5* air conditioning at his hotel on the bay. I guess he'll have an air-con limo to pay his respects to SS's grave if the 'fans' aren't staking it out, that is.

If and when anyone at the gig wishes to provide an alternative framework for understanding the puzzle of PETA and Cheezy Moz Paninis, then I will respond to their analyses. It hasn't happened because there's a deathly silence amidst the cult about their hero. Most know he's a pseud and insincere on animal rights issues. If you've read about the goat cheese you claimed was innocent, you'll now realise that Morrissey allowing cheezy paninis is EXACTLY the same as allowing beefburgers. He needs to STFU about his dietary phobias or clean up his act, go vegan and even then he has to face the fact he's wasted 33 years of his life spouting nonsense. You might not like the fact that I'm a trained court stenographer and it takes me very little effort to continually debunk his nonsense, but there's nothing you can do about it other than ignore me and carry on being a cult casualty. Your choice. I'm having fun. And, no, I wouldn't rather be outside inhaling the smog. I hope Moz isn't outside as he might get an asthma attack and have to cancel the rest of the half-full arenas. That would be tragic.

[h=1]UK on health alert today as toxic smog cloud blown in from Continent shrouds country and sends pollution soaring[/h]
  • Britain placed on health alert as blanket of smog continues to hang over large swathes of the country today
  • People up and down the country, from Liverpool and Birmingham to Cardiff and Leeds, woke up to thick, hazy smog
  • High levels of air pollution in Cornwall and north Wales today, with moderate levels affecting much of the rest of UK
  • Smog, which has swept in from France, is moving towards the west and will clear from most of the UK by tomorrow
  • Experts warned potentially dangerous levels of air pollution could cause fatal asthma attacks and affect the elderly

Yes, fry your fish and stick them in your cheezy panini, just don't waste my time trolling me on issues you have zero interest in. You raised Goat Cheese, not me, you berk.

Linking to the Daily Mail is not an endorsement. I also linked to another article. You are beyond desperate in trying to protect your wasted investment in the Cult Of Morrissey. That's your problem, your tragedy, not mine. Kindly desist from further impertinent interruptions and stick to your vapid inconsequential remarks which are sometimes moderately amusing. Or, y'know, put me on Ignore....*rollseyes*

I'm going to Birmingham next week. It's a big venue so It'll be interesting to see how full it is.

Like you I'd have preferred a smaller full venue which would create more intimacy and atmosphere.

I still can't wait for next Friday to come though!

Morrissey has had an amusing wake up call with these arena gigs. Presumably he will either blame the promoters or invent some new absurd conspiracy theory to explain why the British public sold out Lionel Ritchie and Paloma Faith but couldn't be arsed to spend £50-£70 to see Morrissey at the same venue the next night.

Oh dear you really think people pay attention to your musings. And you accuse people of being delusional. This is a f***ing website dedicated to an aging and increasingly irrelevant singer. Who the f*** exactly do you think you are preaching to? Debunking the myth of Morrissey on a gig review thread.

Most people who attended last night's gig do not use this website, have a passing interest in Morrissey as a pop star and/ or his music and couldn't give a flying f*** about cheese paninis, PETA or indeed the merchandise stall.

So your wry mocking Is of no relevance to anyone apart from yourself.

Another nice link to the Daily Fail by the way.

I actually find many of your comments quite enlightening. But there is a time and a place Brummie, a time and a place.

Mmm let me think, Paloma Faith very current, lots of young fans, embraces new media to interact with fan base. Will she still be as big in 25 years though? Lionel Ritchie is still a big draw, however he has sold far more records than Morrissey and has more of a mainstream audience, he also doesn't come out with daft statements?

Possibly 2 reasons. Why couldn't you work that out, you appear to be quite smart

Then just put me on Ignore. It's really very, very simple. What is wrong with you? Why are you fixated on me? We cover this whenever the issue comes up. Morrissey is still claiming to be an 'animal rights activist' whilst selling Cheese Paninis to his audience. This is a remarkably stupid position to adopt. I will continue to highlight it as and when relevant. You will not i was absent for over 3 weeks as I got bored of this issue. I will probably get bored again soon so you can go back to whatever it is you discuss when your not complaining about me. One of the songs played was 'Meat Is Murder'. So is Cheese.

I agree, I have been hundreds of gigs and have never actually eaten at any of them.

However bar facilities and sound are also important imho.

Well, you can choose when and if you want to be enlightened. I totally agree that the vast majority of his audience aren't interested in his Scary/Weird animal Torture/Slaughter Porn stuff and I also agree that many here aren't interested in my musings on these topics. I don't expect them to be and couldnt' care less if they are or not. I'm not preaching to anyone, I'm just having fun. I expect that enrages some folk far more than the idea that I give an actual f*** about a man you correctly designate as increasingly irrelevant. But he is amusing as he descends into his dotage, still raving about Meat whilst scoffing Cheese. Hilarious stuff. He's a clown. Enjoy the show for what it is: Pantomime.

definitely more than half full -crowd afetr the first 4 or 5 songs was a bit flat =picked up with "sunday" and the place was rocking when first of the gang was played -strange as it wasnt a good rendition -apart from that and speedway voice was faultless throughout and he was energetic -couple of lyric changes -during stop me "I still love you MORE than I used to " getting sick of the crap posted up on these gig reviews

Unfortunately for both of you, your crank singer Morrissey DOES think food is an important issue at gigs. So direct your weary complaints to him, not me. I agree that bar facilities are important. Which raises the question of whether or not the beer and wine at his gigs is vegetarian and/or vegan. Does he screen the wine for isinglass? We need to know! I will make enquiries and revert back ASAP. Was Brains on tap at the Cardiff arena last night? Is it vegan?...*thinking*

edit: Oh dear! Brains isn't vegan....I hope it wasn't on sale last night! "the beer that you constantly swill...." LOL!

OR: They are simply more popular than Morrissey. A rewarding musical career isn't defined by spending 30 years at the coal-face/desk and then getting a BRIT award. Both Lionel and Paloma have Brit awards but not Morrissey. I'm sure you'll agree with Morrissey that his failure to sell out Cardiff Arena the night after these Brit Award Winners is part of the vast, global conspiracy to prevent him reaching a mass audience. OR: He's a tin-foil hat conspiracy loon.
