Larry had Type-2 diabetes and had suffered from lung cancer, angina and heart attacks in recent years. His death is probably Covid related.

Of course he interviewed Moz and approx. 50K other people during his career, which is a staggering number. I wonder what he thought of Moz talking about his throat cancer but not knowing what stage it was at. Larry was no stranger to sickness himself.
