Excerpt:

BMG Records have dropped Morrissey. Following the March 2020 release of I AM NOT A DOG ON A CHAIN
(#1 Scotland, #1 Poland, #3 Britain, #3 France, #10 Spain, #13 Germany, #2, #9, #17, #18 U.S.A. - depending
on which official chart you follow), BMG have appointed a new Executive who does not want another Morrissey
album. Instead, the new BMG Executive has announced new plans for 'diversity' within BMG's artist roster, and
all projected BMG Morrissey releases/reissues have been scrapped.

"This news is perfectly in keeping with the relentless galvanic horror of 2020," said Morrissey, "we would be critically insane to expect anything positive."

Morrissey is once again in search of a new label willing to release his music.

"My three albums with BMG have been the best of my career, and I stand by them till death. Recording them has been a pivotal period in my life, and I thank the previous BMG team and everyone involved for that. It's still important to me to do music my own way, and I wouldn't want to be on a label that dictates so specifically how their artists should behave - especially when the word 'talent' is notably never mentioned."

Morrissey's duet with David Bowie is now available on Parlophone via Warner.

"There are too many cases of successful artists languishing at labels who are no longer interested in them." Alistair Norbury, BMG.

Morrissey's Las Vegas residency remains in place for 2021.

full interview will be printed shortly.

Why are there so many obvious Morrissey haters on here, bitter little wankers it seems, who relish in his downfall so much.

Are they the snowflake brigade of the 80s, so upset their bespectacled hero of 1984 is a different person now, & they just can’t let it go. Or do they just generally have no life?

Obviously if someone has been here, say 20 years, they must have invested a hell a lot of their life & time spewing hatred on here.

It’s quite sad & pathetic really, isn’t it.

Why not just leave or set up a Morrissey hate site somewhere else?

This is the site that Morrissey hates.

Surely there can't be anyone who, of sound mind, has been on this forum for 20 years, can there?

He's not different.

And you're a rotten wind-up merchant.

This is the site that Morrissey hates.

Maybe he does, & to be honest, if he reads half the shit that gets posted on here, who can blame him.

I don’t like Lewis Hamilton (I appreciate he is a good driver, but I don’t like him & think he is making F1 boring). You won’t find me wasting hours on a LH site slagging him off though.

And I’ve noticed the haters on here virtually never seem to participate in any other thread, you only see them when they come on to spew their bile.

Did you, a man of letters, not read the interviews c.2002, and 2008, and 2015?
Do you know what the worst thing is Hovis? The haters, shooting their loads in their adult nappies over this, don’t WANT him to get another deal. Whereas me, you, Mozmar etc would like to see him get one, they really, really don’t.

How sad that is, isn’t it.

The thing about Morrissey is it's always someone else's fault? Always. He cannot understand why:

(a) The things he said are not conducive to a business wanting to make money from him
(b) Why he's still not as popular as he was back in the early 90s
(c) Why his chug-a-lug lyrical empty well doesn't chime with the kids of today

He thinks all those are someone else's fault. Not his. Serious question. When was the last time you heard/saw him apologise for anything or acknowledge wrong? It's never his fault. There's always someone somewhere to blame. And LAUGHABLY this time it's diversity. Seriously. Because if it wasn't for diversity, he'd still be top of the tree, right?

When you go down the right-wing rabbit hole, everything is someone else's fault, the 'man', diversity, Sadiq Khan, immigrants. It's all about the money for him, it always was and still is. He'll die a bitter lonely man, with a dwindling pot of money next to him as he sleeps.
