Best Singing On A Morrissey Song

My personal favourites for Moz's warblings are ...

Come Back To Camden
Speedway
Now My Heart Is Full
Nobody Loves Us
Trouble Loves Me
Ammunition
Wide To Receive

- Yes, I Am Blind
- Friday Mourning

I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday
Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself

Agree with all, esp Yes, I am blind :sweet:

adds: I've changed my plea to guilty, Let me kiss you, Skin storm :horny:, Angel, angel..., I'm the end of the family line, There is a place in Hell for me and my friends (KU), Hated for loving, Girl least likely to, Never played symphonies, Swallow on my neck.

It's difficult to just pick a few. ;)

Choosing songs through the various eras, I'd go with:

Late Night Maudlin Street
I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday
Trouble Loves Me
Come Back to Camden
Definitely leaning toward the tracks that show off his croon.

Alma Matters
We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful
I Have Forgiven Jesus
and of course
Everyday Is Like Sunday

i like how he sings Something Is Squeezing My Skull

haha i love Ive Changed My Plea To Guilty

'Why Don't you Find out For Yourself' is a good shout

Not mentioned yet 'I'm the end of the family line' - best song on an average album IMO

I actually think his best singing is on "The Headmaster Ritual." It's sung pretty simply and kinda sorta monotone, but it's very matter-of-factly. Plus, the wailing choruses.

But if I were to pick a moment that gives me goosebumps every time, it'd be at the end of the live version of "Vicar in a Tutu" from "Rank." The way he belts out "I am a living sign" is just..... awesome to me. I know it's a silly song, but that's the moment for me.

I

Lifeguard Sleeping, Girl Drowning is so intimate, haunting, tender and mocking, all at the same time. No one else could whisper like that.
.
