The best of the bunch is easily 'Nobody Loves Us' but, as it's not on a proper album, quite a lot of people may not be aware ofit. Otherwise, how else can it possibly be failing to win!

how can you not see it?! Jack the Ripper is IMO Morrissey's best solo song EVER... I could write an essay about it, but I don't have time now. Dark ,chilling, seductive, creepy, sexy in a creepy way, seemingly a simple story-song, and has so many layers... a picture of dark desire and emotional wasteland...

but I have to go to bed now, I'll be willing to explain it in detail tomorrow.

I might even tell you what Smiths song I would draw a parallel with (no matter how different thay might seem). Can you guess?
